Technical Information:
- Cannot be installed in cars with Driving Assistant (SA 5AT or SA 5AU).
- If installed with steering wheel heating (SA 248), the heating function will not work. No uncoding is required.
- The trim with the switch for the steering wheel heating can be used, but the switch is nonfunctional. Alternatively a new trim without a recess for the steering wheel heating switch can be ordered.
- No entry in the vehicle’s paperwork is required for the M Performance steering wheel, and there is no need to carry an operating licence.
- The licence is covered for the cars concerned by the overall EC approval.

Note:
Note for customer: The heating function is omitted when the MP steering wheel is installed in vehicles with OE 248 (steering wheel heating). The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without any function. Outcoding is not necessary.
